These terms govern your use of publish.ai. By uploading a manuscript or purchasing a package, you agree to them.

What we do

You upload a finished manuscript and metadata; we generate a self-publishing package (formatted ebook files, cover images, listing copy, and marketing graphics) for a one-time fee. We are a formatting and design tool — we are not a publisher, agent, or distributor, and we have no affiliation with Amazon.

Your content, your rights

You keep every right to your manuscript. You must own (or have permission to use) everything you upload. The generated package is yours: you may publish, print, and promote it anywhere, for any book you have rights to, with no license fees to us.

What you may not do

• Upload content you don’t have the rights to.
• Upload malware or attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse the service.
• Use the service to produce unlawful content.

AI-generated material

Cover backgrounds and marketing copy are produced with AI assistance and are reviewed by you before delivery. You are responsible for final review of everything you publish, including verifying that listing copy is accurate for your book.

Guarantee and liability

Our guarantee is that your EPUB passes epubcheck validation (see the refund policy). Beyond amounts you paid us, we’re not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or the commercial performance of your book.
